Linda Herbert has been the Founding Executive Director of Child Connect for Family Success since 1994, responsible for the oversight of all technical and administrative operations of the agency serving multiple counties.
Linda has over 40 years of experience in many levels of the early childhood workforce. She provides early childhood leadership skills to the community by working in partnership with key community organizations, human service agencies, educational institutions, volunteer leaders and early childhood businesses, parent groups, elected public officials and employers.
Other experiences include workforce trainer, preschool teacher and teen-parent early childhood learning center/lab director, parent educator, family day care owner, recreational specialist, curriculum development and early childhood consultation.
She has held Board positions on both local and state organizations as a trustee and executive officer. Linda has presented at state, national and regional early childhood conferences. She chaired three successful statewide conferences and has chaired the Community Sharing for Healthy Caring Conference for 22 years. Linda has received numerous awards over her career.
Linda’s education includes Bachelor Degrees in Child Development and Business Administration.
